Barrow-upon-Soar Parish Council meets at 7.15 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, usually at the Parish Council Office, 12 High Street.

The agenda and approved minutes for meetings are displayed in the window of the Parish Council Offices together with a list of current Councillors. Approved minutes of meetings are also available for inspection at the Library and on the website (address above).

Committees of the Council meet as follows:-

1. Planning Committee at 12 noon on the first Monday of each month excepting Bank Holidays when the meeting is held on the first Tuesday at 12 noon.
2. Cemetery & Other Grounds - as and when required (approximately quarterly).
3. Playing Fields – as and when required (approximately quarterly).
4. Policy & Finance - as and when required (approximately quarterly)

The meetings (back over) are usually held at the Parish Council Offices, though are sometimes held on site. (Particularly Playing Fields and Cemetery).

The Annual Parish Meeting is held in April and is a chance for all residents to have their say. The Chairman and Chairmen of subcommittees report on the previous year's activities and the Annual Accounts are presented. Members of the public are welcome to all meetings of the Council, unless stated otherwise. All correspondence should be addressed to the Clerk.

The Parish Council Offices are open to the public Monday to Thursday 10.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. and at other times by appointment.

Meetings and venues are subject to change from time to time, though notice of any change is publicised.
